| Content Management Systems
A Content Management System (CMS) allows Intranet and Internet site administrators to make changes to the content of their site without having to code HTML or use Web authoring software. A CMS allows people throughout your company to make updates to your Web site (and usually only takes a few minutes to learn how to use). This stratification of responsibility for content updates can make your Web site a business driver, as well as remove the burden of making hundreds of updates from your IT or marketing department.
IND has created many different types of CMS systems that allow our clients to control the content of their own press releases, event calendars, client databases, shopping cart changes, product updates, etc. Enterprise-level CMS systems, like Microsoft’s SharePoint server, integrate into Microsoft Office, allowing authorized individuals within your organization to manage content on specific sections of your Intranet or Internet site.
