Take pro-active measures to prevent it! Server Physician is a proactive support service that improves the longevity of your network servers by ensuring their efficiency and proper operation. IND provides a well managed process to review and analyze the status or health of enterprise servers to minimize risk.
Each month a certified engineer will review each server’s logs (Security, System, & Application) for errors and warnings and document those that should be addressed. Each server is additionally analyzed for disk usage, and other signs of potential failure to pro-actively prevent any unnecessary or unexpected downtime. The maintenance is well documented, provided, and reviewed with the specified contact to discuss any items that need additional attention. Server physician is available on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly service.
Server Physician Includes:
- Review & Analysis of System, Security, & Application Logs
- Evaluation of Data Storage Utilization
- Evaluation of Processor Utilization
- Evaluate & Document Severity of Warnings & Errors
- Findings Review & Generation of Maintenance Report
Available on a weekly, bi-Weekly, or monthly basis. IND recommends at least a monthly basis as a best practices minimum frequency for this important function. Server Physician Services do not include any hardware, software, or any licenses. It is the sole responsibility of the client to ensure proper licensing for accessibility to update services and hardware replacement components. If hardware failures occur and the hardware is not covered under warranty, IND will perform research and proposal of best comparable replacement component if requested and may facilitate hardware procurement upon approval. All server physician services are purchased through the allocation of managed service units and deducted as utilized.
