Free Virtual Drive Space for Windows |
|
Have you ever wanted a virtual storage location accessible via the web, but easily accessed locally from your computer without having to bring back and forth your USB thumb drive? Now you can! A developer has created a new windows application to create a virtual drive on your PC using the 2GB GMail storage available through Google. Grab this application and take advantage of some online drive space:

Important: Use of this feature requires specific permissions to install and activate. Before use in an enterprise environment please check with your system administrator or refer to your companies software installation policy. ( Please note that GMail Drive is still an experimental tool and no guarantees of file storage longevity are made by the developer, Google, or IND)

Email Etiquette: Blind Copy |
|
When sending email to a group of people, consider using the blind carbon copy (BCC) feature to conceal the email addresses of all other recipients. Most email programs include this feature, but if you are using Microsoft Outlook and this option is not available for you by default follow these simple steps:
1. Click NEW to begin writing an email
2. Click the OPTIONS drop down
3. Click on BCC (Note: Once you click the menu will disappear.)
The BCC field should now have appeared underneath the CC field ready to use this time and every time. Your friends, associates and customers will greatly appreciate you not sharing their email addresses with everyone else on your "list."

E-Myth Revisited: Michael E. Gerber
IND highly recommends this book to any business owner, principal, key manager, or other team member who is interested in driving their organization to great success! Michael Gerber dispels the myths surrounding starting your own business and shows how commonplace assumptions can get in the way of running a business. Next, he walks you through the steps in the life of a business—from entrepreneurial infancy, through adolescent growing pains, to the mature entrepreneurial perspective, the guiding light of all businesses that succeed—and shows how to apply the lessons of franchising to any business, whether or not it is a franchise. Finally, Gerber draws the vital, often overlooked distinction between working on your business and working in your business. |
